Tami Moser, Ph.D.
Dr. Tami Moser is an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Administration in the College of Pharmacy. She is the coordinator for the Center of Excellence in Pharmacy Leadership, Innovation, and Quality Outcomes. She holds a Doctorate of Philosophy in Organization and Management with a specialization in Human Resource Management and a Masters in Public Administration with a focus in management. Her dissertation research focused on succession management systems in small businesses. She has presented at national conferences and published.
Dr. Moser's small business, corporate and consulting experience helped prepare her for teaching and research. She is a business and education professional with broad experience in recruitment, training, and retention of highly qualified employees and a project manager with experience in a wide variety of business applications. She has experience successfully leading people, projects, and processes and is dedicated to creating a friendly and exciting environment where people are allowed to stretch their creativity and skill set. Her industry experience includes: health care, retail, business-to-business sales (multiple industries), insurance, and hospitality.
Currently, Dr. Moser teaches a variety of courses for the College of Pharmacy including the core Administration courses and three courses for the Degree Specialization in Leadership, Innovation, and Quality. Dr. Moser is conducting research related to leadership and team development in young professionals, the impact of learning environment design on learning success, and quality initiatives in integrated healthcare facilities.
