The Department of Biological Sciences offers bachelor degree programs in Biological Sciences (emphases in biomedical science, microbiology, organismal biology, and ecology and environmental biology), Medical (Clinical) Laboratory Science, and Natural Science Education and Masters of Education in Natural Science Education, and Health Science/Microbiology Education. These programs prepare students for entry into a variety of options for advanced education and careers in the biological and medical fields.
Biological sciences students have multiple opportunities for off-campus and extracurricular learning including undergraduate research, marine and terrestrial field stations, summer internships, and service learning.
