Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribal College
Gail Wilcox, a native of western Oklahoma, holds a baccalaureate degree in computer science from Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) and she is currently working on a graduate degree in business administration at SWOSU. One of her graduate electives was a Native American Studies course she took on-line from Montana State University, Bozeman.
She serves as the administrative and admissions officer (AAO) for the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribal College, and as adjunct faculty teaching computer science for the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribal College and Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Gail was employed at SWOSU for approximately 10 years before joining the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribal College Staff where she has been recognized as Employee of the Year. While working in the Office of the Dean of Arts and Sciences, SWOSU, she was a member of the planning committee for the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribal College. Gail’s position as AAO allows her the opportunity to work directly with students by enrolling, advising, assisting and motivating them to either consider or enroll as students of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribal College.
