Computer Science and Information Systems

Computer Club

The Computer Club is an active student organization promoting professional development of Computer Science students and providing an opportunity for social interaction for those with interests in Computer Science and Information Systems. The club holds meetings providing interesting and informative programs, and arranges trips to company computing facilities. Participation in programming contests, both local and at other sites, and fundraising activities are other regular endeavors of the Computer Club.

AITP 2006 Region Three Annual Student Conference

Dennis Ferron, Vance Morgan, Marwan Remman, Vaibhav Pandya, and Ben Van Treese recently attended the Association of Information Technology Professionals 2006 Region Three annual student conference hosted by Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. All five students returned with both awards and prize money. Dr. Warren Moseley sponsored student attendance at the conference.
