Dr. Larry McKee
Dobson Associate Dean, School of Business
Dr. Larry McKee entered Oklahoma state government
in 1969 and served for twenty-eight years. He held the positions of Environmental
Specialist, District Supervisor, Energy Conservation
Officer, Chief
of Financial Management, Chief of Environmental Complaints
and Local Services. He is currently an associate professor of management
and
the Dobson Associate Dean of the School of Business
at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma.
Dr. McKee received a B.S. degree in the School of Arts and Sciences at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 1969, a Masters’ degree from the College of Engineering at the University of Oklahoma in 1976, and a Doctor of Public Administration degree in the School of Business and Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 1982.
Dr. McKee’s research efforts has focused on evaluating and developing practical approaches for managers to improve opportunities in building trust, loyalty and ethical behavior in the workplace. Dr. McKee has published in the Journal of Applied Management and Entrepreneurship, the Southwest Academy of Management, the Southern Management Association in conjunction with the Academy of International Business and the American Society of Business and Behavioral Sciences. Additionally, Dr. McKee has provided book reviews and has participated as a discussant and reviewer for numerous research papers.
