Note to Adventure Program Participants
The Crowder Lake Park Adventure Programming Staff is looking forward
to working with your group. SWOSU will provide you with all of the
technical equipment necessary for safe participation in the activity
of your choice (harnesses, helmets, carabiners, belay / rappel devices,
paddles, etc.) We have provided a check sheet listing a few things
to bring with you as well as a few things to leave at home.
Things to bring:
- Completed copy of acknowledgment of risk form
- Water (canteen, nalgene, etc.)
- Lunch (coolers are a big help)
- Hat / cap for shade
- Sunscreen
- Shoes or boots with plenty of traction (no sandals for rope activities; sandals are OK for water activities
- Light colored shirt (warm weather)
- Wind shell, insulating layers, fleece / wool hats & gloves (cold weather)
- Hair bands (to tie back long hair for rope activities)
Things to leave at home:
- Jewelry
- Knives
