SWOSU Signs Agreements with Two Universities in China

Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford recently signed two agreements of academic exchange with two universities in China. Beijing Normal University in Beijing and Guizhou Normal College in Guiyang are now partnering with SWOSU to provide opportunities for both students and faculty among the three universities.

SWOSU Signs Agreement with Taiwan University

January 15, 2009

Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford has now signed five agreements of academic exchange with various countries with the latest being in Taipei, Taiwan. SWOSU and Taipei Municipal University of Education recently finalized the agreement, which was signed by SWOSU President John Hays and TMUE President Tien-Yu Lin.

SWOSU Signs Agreements with Two Jordan Universities

Southwestern Oklahoma State University has signed agreements of academic exchange with two universities in Jordan. SWOSU now has agreements with Jadara University and Al Balqa’ Applied University (BAU) that will provide both student and faculty opportunities for all three universities.

SWOSU and Korean University Sign Agreement

February 12, 2008

Southwestern Oklahoma State University and Dong-A University in Korea signed an agreement of academic exchange during a February 12 ceremony on the Weatherford campus. Three students will be exchanged per academic year from each institution. SWOSU and Dong-A University will also encourage visits by faculty to engage in research or other educational activities.

SWOSU Signs Academic Agreement with University in Costa Rica

July 17, 2008

Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford and the International University of San Isidro Labrador of Costa Rica have signed an academic agreement that will exchange up to three students between the two universities. SWOSU President John Hays and IUSIL President Gerardo Velasquez Araya signed the agreement at a ceremony and luncheon July 17 on the SWOSU campus.
