Services at Music Therapy Clinic
SWOSU Music Therapy clinic is equipped to host individual and small-group music therapy sessions. A renovation to install a double-sided mirror between the lab and the observation room and improve sound insulation was completed in Summer 2004. The music therapy services at the clinic are partially provided by the board-certified music therapy faculty,which is eligible for the Medicare reimbursement in Partial Hospitalization Program using HCPCS code,contractual services with Oklahoma 
Health Care Authority (in process) or co-treatments with other healthcare professionals for Medicaid reimbursements, Related Services included on the Individual Education Plan (IEP) according to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), and some private insurance reimbursements, in addition to the method of private payments. Services incorporated senior SWOSU music therapy students under close supervision ofmusic therapy faculty are charged with reduced fee.
