SWOSU offers a Parks and Recreation degree that has earned great respect throughout Oklahoma.  Only a short drive from Oklahoma City, OK, the Parks and Recreation Management Program at SWOSU prepares students to take on some of the nation’s most important parks & recreation careers.

Park Ranger Jobs

SWOSU offers two bachelor’s degrees, an associate's degree and one graduate level degree in the Parks and Recreation Management field:

  • A.S. Wildland Fire Fighting
  • B.S. Parks and Wildlife Law Enforcement
  • B.S. Parks and Recreation Management
  • M.Ed. Parks and Recreation Management

These courses are taught by instructors with extensive field experience in the field.

Whether you’re interested in pursuing parks, recreation and natural resource careers such as wildland firefighter or park ranger, these degrees will give you the qualifications and training to be the best possible candidate.
