Choosing a Minor as a Comparison to the Major
Students are required to select a minor of 18 hours in order to obtain a degree. Although it is possible to major and minor in criminal justice, most students will major in criminal justice and choose a related but separate minor. Minors serving as good companions to the criminal justice major include psychology, social work, Spanish, and pre-law. Other worthwhile minors include political science, communication arts, and computer science.
Some students choose to major and minor in criminal justice.
