Vice President for Student Affairs and Associate Provost
The Vice President for Student Affairs and Associate Provost is a senior administrative official and member on the Executive Council, Deans Council, and the Academic Advisory Council.
The University Mission and Purposes are implemented in the AP's Office through the management and delivery of certain student services; academic course file management including the preparation and publication of university catalogs, class schedules, and maintenance of the permanent university course catalog information; in addition to providing assistance for oversight for regional and professional accreditation, institutional effectiveness through strategic planning, academic program planning and evaluation, professional faculty development, and academic policy.
The AP has direct supervisory responsibility over the Dean of Students and Director of Student Activities, Director of Enrollment Management, Director of Assessment, Director of the Registrar's Office, Director of Counseling Services, and Director of Health Services, Director of the Wellness Center, Director of Upward Bound, and Coordinator of Violence Prevention, Intervention, and Early Response (VIPER) programs.
The Associate Provost reports to the Provost and acts on behalf of the Provost in his absence.
