Distance Education

The Distance Education Center at SWOSU provides students with the highest quality media-based courses available.

Currently Distance Education serves over 84 sites around the state stretching from the Oklahoma Panhandle to Miami OK in the far northeast corner. Distance Education is proud to work with various four and two year institutions to provide SWOSU's quality instruction to students in need. Distance Education also works with various high schools to deliver both Concurrent classes to high school seniors and upper division master's courses to school faculty members.

Scholarships/Financial Assistance

SWOSU offers a number of scholarships and financial assistance programs to help you with college expenses. Academic, talent-based and need-based awards and financial aid are available to qualified students. Academic scholarship applications are due by March 1 each spring preceding the new academic year. Graduate scholarships are also awarded each semester. State and federal assistance is also available.
