Certifications

SWOSU offers the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certificate exams. The exams are offered in two certification levels: Proficient and Expert. Students may also take Information Technology (IT) certification tests on campus. Exams are computer-based and students will receive test scores immediately.

The Southwestern Oklahoma State University Center for Distance Learning is now an Authorized Prometric Testing Center. Now you can take your IT certification tests here on campus. The APTC exams are computer based and you will receive your test score immediately.

Registration is simple. You can go to the Prometric Web site, come by the SWOSU Center for Distance Learning Office is located on the second floor of the Education Building in Room 210, or download our test voucher form and bring it by the SWOSU business office to purchase a test voucher.
