Do not send Student Job Postings to Human Resources!

SWOSU Career Services and Human Resources are working together on a new service for our students, alumni, and employers. It is called the Bulldog Job
Board. As of October 2, 2006 all student postings will be shown on the Bulldog Job Board. You will find a link to the Bulldog Job Board on the Human Resources Employment opportunities web site and Career Services website. There will be duplicate postings for all student positions until November 1, 2006. After
November 1, only the Bulldog Job Board will be available. 

Therefore, click on the link to Bulldog Job Board and set yourself up as an employer now. Career Services will approve you as an employer and give you a password to begin entering all your student job openings now.

During the month of October, training opportunities will be presented for ALL individuals responsible for student job postings in their respective departments.  The program is user friendly and participation in the training session may not be necessary.  But, HR will host training sessions which will show ways to search for students that meet your job specifications, reports that can be developed, etc.  After November 1, 2006 HR will not post student jobs on the HR web page – each department will post their own on the Bulldog Job Board with HR approval.

Students will be looking for SWOSU jobs through the Bulldog Job Board and will be able to send their resume’ to the hiring department by email. Career Services will review all resumes’ prior to posting and allowing access to potential employers. We see this as a win-win situation for employers and students. Employers can search the data base for potential employees meeting their qualifications and students become familiar with the process of resume’ writing that will follow them in the job market for the rest of their lives.
