Campus Connect Faculty FAQs

Can an advisor enroll a student using the Vax registration system or Campus Connect?

In the near future the Vax registration system will be going away. Until that time, Advisors who previously had Vax access can still enroll students, including those who are not their advisees, as in the past.
Using Campus Connect, any Advisor may enroll students but only those who are their advisees.

The student’s advisor will receive all enrollment emails, regardless of who enrolled the student.

During the process of enrolling a student via Campus Connect, I set the student’s account to allow self-enrollment. If I do not wish this option to be permanently available, can the account be reset to not allow the student to self-enroll?

Yes, you may reset your advisees accounts to not allow self-enrollment by following the same steps as for allowing the student to self-enroll, except enter an N in the “OK to Web enroll” field to restrict the student’s account. All student accounts will be reset to not allow online enrollment on the 10th class day of every semester. Then, as each class (Seniors and Juniors, and then Sophomores) is allowed to enroll, the accounts will automatically be reset to allow online enrollment.
