Classroom Technology Available
Southwestern Oklahoma State University is continually improving and adding new technology for instructional and educational purposes.
Currently there are computer labs for general student use, as well as for instructional purposes. There are several buildings which currently have wireless access for students to use with their personal laptops and many of those currently without wireless access are scheduled to have the wireless installed.
Many classrooms have Internet access available in them. Some rooms also have a mounted projector permanently installed and are wired so that a laptop may be connected directly to the Internet and the projector. Some classrooms with mounted projectors also have a computer permanently located in them and are ready for use.
Also there are Mobile Multimedia Carts available for check out for use in classrooms which do not currently have a projector and/or computer supplied. These carts consist of a computer, speakers and projector. Check for locations of carts and contact persons.
Many departments have laptops and projectors which are available to their faculty members to be used as well. Check with the department chair for availability.
Information Technology also has some Audio/Visual Equipment available for checking out.
