Dialing Instructions

United States calls: Dial 9 + 1 + area code + destination telephone number for long distance.
International calls: Dial 9 + 1 + Country Code + City Code + Destination telephone number.
On campus: Dial 4 digit extension number.
Sayre campus: Dial 4 digit extension number.
State Regents Telephone Network: Dial 405 area code to access even if you are trying to reach a school in the 580 area code
Directory information: Dial 9 + 0 (and wait for operator prompt) or dial 9 + 0 + area code + 555-1212 for any other area.
Cell phone dialing: Cell phones can have many different prefixes. 819 and 650 are a couple of common numbers to our area. You do not need to dial a 1 in front of these cell numbers. It is recommended you find out from the party you are calling if the cell number is local to Weatherford.
