Multiline Operation

Call Forwarding

To activate:

Leave handset in cradle;
Press Forward button;
See flashing arrow;
Dial target number;
Press Forward button again.

If you want to forward to the last target number you used, perform the same procedure as above but exclude dialing the target number.

To deactivate:

Leave handset in cradle;
Press Forward button;
Arrow will disappear.

Call Pick-Up

To use:

Pickup handset;
Dial *7 to answer a ringing telephone in your pick-up group or area.

Call Transfer

To use:

Press Transfer button (places caller on hold);
Listen for dial tone;
Dial destination telephone number;
If destination answers you can screen call with them and then press Transfer a second time.
Hang up.
Call is transferred
Or if you don’t want to screen the call just press Transfer a second time
Hang up.
Call is transferred

Conference Calling

To use:

Press Conference (places other party or parties on hold);
Listen for dial tone;
Dial target number;
Announce conference call;
Press conference again (parties are connected).

To terminate call, anyone can hang up. If you hang up and have established an outside conference with two other parties, they will remain connected through our switch at our expense.

Ring Again

To use:

Press ring again button when trunk is busy. Phone will ring when trunk is idle. This does not work for trunks outside of our switch.

Speed Calling

To program:

Leave handset in cradle;
Press speed call button;
See flashing button light;
Press location code from 0 to 9 (10 locations) for a storage location to store telephone number in;
Press telephone number, including 9 if it is an outside call and any area codes, prefixes, etc.;
Press speed call button again;
If the light is solid, it means the number is stored.
