Creative Card Making
Creative Card Making Continuing Education (CE) Activity is geared toward those who are interested in creating professional cards for everyday and special occasions such as birthdays, holidays, or expressions of congratulations. Participants will make 8-12 cards for their personal use. This CE Activity will help inspire creative ways to execute ideas, add personal touches to cards, and create card lay-outs. No previous art experience is necessary. Enjoy this fun and creative outlet!

Instructor Biography:
EunKyung (E.K.) Jeong was born and raised in Korea. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fiber Arts from Dong-A University, Korea in 1993. Ms. Jeong moved to the United States in 1993 to pursue freedom in her artistic expression. In 1996, she received a Master of Fine Arts in Sculpture and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History in 2001 from the State University of New York at New Paltz, New York. Throughout her formal art education, she has explored media old and new.
Currently, Ms. Jeong is an Assistant Professor at Southwestern Oklahoma State University teaching Studio Art classes through the SWOSU Art Department. She is an active participant in international exhibitions in France, Korea, and Italy, and in national exhibitions held in Oklahoma, Connecticut, New York, Illinois, Massachusetts, Wisconsin, Wyoming, and North Carolina.
Ms. Jeong was recently among 236 world wide well-known artists invited to exhibit their art at the “From Lausanne to Beijing” 4th International Fiber Art Exhibition and Symposium in China. Her artwork won the outstanding honorable mention award at this exhibition. Her professional affiliations are with organizations such as Five to Nine Artists Group, Norman, OK, Woman Made Gallery, Chicago, IL, Women and Their Work, Austin, TX, Oklahoma Visual Arts coalition, Oklahoma City, OK, Women’s Studio Workshop, Rosendale, NY, Asian American Women Artist Alliance, Brooklyn, NY, Korean Sculptures Association, Seoul, Korea, Korean National Sculptors Association, Seoul, Korea, and War-Nasse Gallery, New York, NY.
