15^th Annual Student Research Fair

Information and Instructions

The 15th Annual Student Research/Scholarly Activity Fair will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2008, between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on the Southwestern Oklahoma State University campus in the Ballroom of the Student Center. The deadline for applications is Friday, March 7, 2008. No applications will be considered beyond the deadline. No posters or podium presentations will be allowed without a completed and accepted application.

The application process is online only. If you have difficulty completing the application, please contact Dr. Johnson for assistance. Please read and follow the instructions carefully. Upon submission, you will receive a notice indicating that the application has been submitted. Notification of acceptance of the application will follow shortly thereafter.

Setup will be on Wednesday, April 16, 2008, between 7:00 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. Dr. John Hays, President of SWOSU, will be present to welcome everyone at 12:15 p.m.

Podium presentations will begin at 12:30 p.m. and are scheduled every 20 minutes, which includes approximately 10 minutes for the presentation, 5 minutes for questions and answers, and 5 minutes intermission in preparation for the next presenter. Presentations will be made in rooms that will accommodate 15 to 20 people.

Each poster and exhibit table space is approximately 2' x 8' and is equipped with a table, cover and a tri-fold Velcro® (loop backing) poster board (blue background, 3' x 6' with a 1' x 2' header).
