21st Annual SWOSU Research and Scholarly Activity Fair
Participant Information and Instructions
The 21st Annual Research and Scholarly Activity Fair will take place on Tuesday, April 15, 2014, from Noon to 3:00 p.m. at SWOSU’s Memorial Student Center on the second floor. Posters will be presented in the Ballroom; the oral/podium presentations will be presented in the Bonny Boardroom.
Please reference the abstract book index to find out the location of the poster presentations and the times of the oral/podium presentations and performances.
To find the location of your poster presentation, refer to the abstract book above. Each abstract number refers to a panel number. A layout of the Fair will be posted at a later date.
Poster set up will begin on the day of the fair at 8:00 a.m. and last until approximately 11:30 a.m. Each presenter will be provided one side of a display panel, which measures 78” high by 50” wide. You will need to bring either Velcro or push-pins to attach your poster(s).
The poster presentations will begin at 12:30 p.m. in the Student Union Ballroom. Students on odd numbered panels are asked to be available in front of their posters from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Students on even numbered panels are asked to be available in front of their posters from 1:30-2:30 p.m.
Set Up—Oral/Podium Presentations
Oral/podium presentations will begin at 12:30 p.m. in the Bonnyboard Room within the Student Union. The presentations have been scheduled in 20-minute intervals, allowing for a 10-minute presentation, a five-minute question-and-answer session, and a five-minute intermission for the next presenter to set up. Refer to the abstract book above to find the time of your presentation.
Musical performances will begin at 2:30 p.m. at the north side of the Student Union Ballroom. Refer to the abstract book above to find the time of your performance.
