Physical Plant

The purpose of the Physical Plant is to maintain and update all physical properties and buildings on campus. Including, but not limited to: housekeeping, grounds, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and renovations.

The Physical Plant oversees all new in-house construction, as well as all outside contractors. It maintains a fully stocked warehouse and controls all shipping and receiving for Plant operations. A work order system is also maintained to ensure requests and repairs are taken care of on daily basis. The Physical Plant maintains a vehicle fleet, including all dispatches and repairs.

The SWOSU Physical Plant strives to create a safe working environment for all students and employees and has a continuing program to bring SWOSU into compliance with A.D.A. issues.
