Oklahoma College Assistance Program

A division of the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, OCAP provides college access, financial aid awareness, financial literacy and student loan management programs and services for students, parents, schools and community partners.

Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education

The State Regents are the coordinating board for Oklahoma public higher education. They set academic standards, determine functions and courses of study at state colleges and universities, and grant degrees. The State Regents also hosts a student portal, www.okcollegestart.org, designed to serve as a one-stop shop for college planning resources for students, parents and counselors.

Oklahoma Money Matters (OKMM)

OKMM, the financial literacy initiative of the State Regents and the Guaranteed Student Loan Program, offers information and resources about budgeting, credit cards, financial aid and saving to help students manage their personal finances independently.

Ready Set Repay is an initiative of the Okalhoma College Assistance Program that helps students make smart borrowing decisions and successfully repay their student loans.

Center for Student Credit Card Education (CSCCE)

The Center for Student Credit Card Education is dedicated to improving the credit card literacy of America’s students. CSCCE offers free lessons, exams, and educational downloads over a variety of credit topics.

Practical Money Skills for Life

Practical Money Skills for Life is a free website designed to help educators, parents and students practice better money management. Materials featured online include lesson plans, financial tools and games.

National Endowment for Financial Literacy

Want to boost your money IQ? Visit the National Endowment for Financial Education’s (NEFE) new website, www.smartaboutmoney.org, for tips and resources about financial planning topics like credit and debt, saving, investing and retirement. This resource library offers courses, workshops, tools, multimedia and printed materials to improve financial decision-making.

360 Degrees of Financial Literacy

360 Degrees of Financial Literacy, an effort of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), offers free tools and resources to help adults manage their finances through every stage of life. 

Federal Trade Commission (FTC)

The Federal Trade Commission’s website offers several publications and materials to educate consumers about issues ranging from credit to investments to privacy, among other topics.
