Comments: Being Native American from Hammon, Oklahoma, my first glimpse of college education was phenomenon. After many years of working and raising a family, I came back! I will graduate in 2008. I have already taught in a classroom setting of Native American language - Cheyenne. SWOSU has been good to me. It has opened many doors for me with a good education. Chief Henry Elk River, my grandfather, told me we must keep up the "whiteman" with education to make it in this world.
