Leandra was in UB in 1989 and she graduated from Carnegie High School in 1990. She graduated from Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, Oklahoma with a Bachelors degree in Physical Education. Leandra is employed by Haskell Indian Nations University in Lawrence, Kansas as a Recreation Assistant Specialist. She also lives in Lawrence. Comments: There is one thing I would like to say to all the educators and peer mentors who were associated with Upward Bound in 1989, "Thanks." All of you were very influential in my life. |

Cherilyn was in UB from 1986-1990 and graduated from Cordell High School in 1990. She graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 1993 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education. Cherilyn lives with her husband, Dusty, and their two children in Hydro. |
