Wendy Henson has been the Violence Prevention Project Coordinator since it began on the SWOSU campuses in February of 2008. She is originally from Long Beach, CA and earned her Bachelor Degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado. She later earned her Master Degree in the Secondary Education of Social Sciences from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and has worked at the university since 2006.
As the coordinator of VIPER, Ms. Henson presents to SWOSU students, parents and employees on the warning signs of domestic and dating violence, the dynamics of interpersonal violence, and resources offered by the VIPER program. Here, Ms. Henson is presenting to a group of Freshmen Orientation classes.
