Vice President for Student Affairs
The Vice President for Student Affairs is the senior administrative official responsible for the direction of student affairs for SWOSU and is a member on both the Executive Council and the Academic Advisory Council.
The VPSA’s office also manages regional and professional accreditation, institutional effectiveness through strategic planning, assessment, admissions, registration, course file management including the preparation and publication of university catalogs, class schedules, and maintenance of the permanent university course catalog.
The VPSA has direct supervisory responsibility over the Dean of Students and Director for Student Activities/Title IX Officer, Director for Assessment/Testing, Director for Enrollment Management and Career Services, Coordinator for Retention Management, Coordinator for International Students, Director for the Registrar’s Office, Director for Student Counseling Services and Employee Assistance Services (EAP), Director for Student Health Services, Director for Upward Bound, Director for the Wellness Center and Intramural Activities, and the Student Government Association.
The VPSA reports to the President.
