Brennan King's Bio
I was born and raised in Southwest Oklahoma, and grew up near the Binger area. I had the opportunity to live on a farm for the majority of my life, and I have embraced the small-town feel of Weatherford, which has become my beloved home.
I attended Binger-Oney Public Schools from kindergarten to graduation in 2006, then, after moving to Weatherford to attend SWOSU, I met my lovely wife, Sarah, in Ms. Endicott’s US History course. After deciding to be married in 2008, I worked on the grounds crew at the SWOSU Physical Plant while my wife finished her degree. In 2010 I returned to SWOSU as a student, earning my Bachelor of Arts in Education in December, 2013. As a student I was a member of the History Club, Latin Club, Phi Alpha Theta, and the Council for Undergraduate Research. After graduation, I taught 5th and 6th grade Social Studies at Washington Elementary in Clinton for one semester before being employed by SWOSU as a Recruiter in the Office of Admissions and Recruitment in May, 2014.
I love to read, play music, spend time with friends and family, sing in the choir at Weatherford First Baptist Church, and enjoy life with my wife, with whom I am expecting our first child in November.
The focus is you.
