Jennifer Dickey's Bio
I was raised in the small town of Leedey in western Oklahoma. Upon graduating high school, I headed to Weatherford and never left! I loved being a student here at SWOSU! I was a member of Gamma Delta Kappa, Student Council for Exceptional Children, and the SWOSU Dance Team. I participated in theatre productions and was even a Homecoming Queen candidate! I received my Bachelor of Science degree from SWOSU in Special Education in 1988 and immediately began teaching. During that time, I earned my Master of Education in Psychometry from SWOSU. After working for Weatherford Schools as a teacher, psychometrist, and administrator for 15 years, I began doing private educational assessments and consultations. The next several years provided me with opportunities to work with people as an assistant at Lockstone Funeral Home and the Executive Director at the Weatherford Area Chamber of Commerce. In 2011, I came back to “The Hill” to work with the SWOSU Foundation and Alumni as the Development Coordinator. I am currently the Assistant Director of Enrollment Management. This position allows me to promote some of my passions: kids/students, education, western Oklahoma and SWOSU!
I enjoy reading, cooking, and exploring the outdoors. My favorite thing is spending time with my husband of over 25 years and our three children! Okay, so two of them are grown . . . but it’s great when we all get together!
The focus is you.
