Shelby Unruh's Bio

I am from Fritch, Texas, a small town in the Texas panhandle. When I came to SWOSU to visit I fell in love and decided to attend college here. I graduated from SWOSU in 2007 with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting and then pursued my Masters of Business Administration which I completed in May 2010. I have been working on campus since 2007 as the New Student Orientation Assistant Director and just recently decided to take the recruiter position.

When I am not working, I volunteer for the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life. I have been relaying since 2006 and absolutely love making a difference for cancer patients and their families. I have served as the local Event Chair since 2012. I enjoy spending time with my husband and family. Some of my favorite activities include being outdoors hunting, fishing, and camping at the lake. I also like cooking, sewing, and making crafts.
