Junior Lowden

Junior Lowden played football at SWOSU from 1992-95 and he was a member of the 1992 co-Oklahoma Intercollegiate Conference championship team. He earned all-conference honors each season he played for the Bulldogs and he is one of just two players in SWOSU football history to be named an All-American in three different seasons. Lowden, a standout tight end for the Bulldogs, was named a First Team All-American in 1992 and 1995 and earned second team honors in 1994. After graduating in December of 1995, he began a teaching and coaching at Bethel HS in Bethel, Okla., before taking on a career with Southwestern Bell Utilities and OG&E Energy, where he has served as a journeyman lineman since 1996.
