Marion Surbeck - 1968

Surbeck coached two National AAU Wrestling Team Championships. The first was in 1937 in Baltimore and the second in 1939 at San Francisco. The Cement native came to Southwestern in 1935 as wrestling and football coach. His 1935 and 1936 teams had two Olympic wrestlers. Surbeck then went on to Eastern Washington State College in 1946.
