Philip Busey Jr.

Philip Busey Jr. serves as vice president of communications for the Busey Group of Companies headquartered in Oklahoma City. Founded by his father, Phil G. Busey in 2000, the company primarily provides services in both the aerospace defense and oil and gas industries. The Busey Group has received numerous awards in recognition for its growth and industry standards including being named to INC 500 in 2006 and receiving the Above and Beyond award from US Department of Defense in 2008. Busey Jr. has a bachelor’s degree in communication arts from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and is currently pursuing his MBA at Oklahoma City University. Busey Jr. was honored by the Journal Record in 2008 as a “Achiever Under 40.” He currently serves on numerous civic boards and organizations including vice chairman of the Oklahoma City Chapter of the American Indian Chamber of Commerce and vice chairman of the advisory council for the WINS Washington Semester program at American University in Washington, DC. Busey Jr. is married to the former Heather Ratcliffe of Weatherford, they have two dogs. The Buseys live in Oklahoma City and spend time at Ft. Gibson Lake in Wagoner.
