After graduating from SWOSU, Kay moved to Bowling Green, OH to pursue a masters degree in College Student Personnel, which she completed in 2002. To kick off her career in student affairs, Kay moved to Columbus, OH to work at The Ohio State University in Student Activities, where she worked until April 2008. Kay is now the Director of Campus Activities and Events at the University of Central Oklahoma. She has remained actively involved in whatever community she lives in with Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Young Professional clubs and volunteering with fraternity and sororities.

While she loves working at UCO and has worked at other great universities, her allegiance is- and will always be- to SWOSU!
