Mark Berrong

Mark Berrong, a lifetime resident of Weatherford, is an alumnus of both Southwestern Oklahoma State University and Oklahoma State University. He is involved with his brothers, Ed Jr. and Brad, in the Ed Berrong Insurance and Real Estate Agency that his father established in Weatherford in 1948.

Mark was elected to Southwestern Oklahoma State University Foundation Board in 2004. He currently serves as President of LaBaron Limited; Director of First National Bank of Weatherford, Hinton, and Cordell; and President of Heartland of America Heritage Foundation.

As a strong believer in volunteerism, Mark has served as past President and Director of the Weatherford Rotary Club. He has served Rotary District 5750 as Assistant District Governor, District Youth Exchange Officer, Group Study Exchange Leader to Brazil, and co-sponsor of Wings of Rotary to Japan. He has received the Service-above-Self Award and Rotary Foundation District Service Award

Mark has been past President and Director of the Weatherford Chamber of Commerce. He supports the Weatherford Scouting Program and the Boy Scout Council, Southwestern Oklahoma State University and is a member of the Methodist Church. He is a member of the Western Oklahoma Board of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors and has received various Realtor awards.

Mark and his wife, Connie have two daughters, Mundy Berrong-Green and Sherri Berrong; and two grandchildren, Payton and Jaxon.
