Chili Dinner/Auction Planned

WEATHERFORD, Okla. – A chance to win a winter vacation package to a famous Mexico resort is just one of the prizes awaiting interested bidders in a special silent auction sponsored by members of the Southwestern Oklahoma State University Athletic Training Staff.

The athletic training staff, along with members of the fraternity Tau Kappa Epsilon (TKE), have accumulated a number of prizes ranging from the before mentioned trip to Cabo Villa Beach Resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico to 30 GB digital media players, DVD players and various gift baskets from local restaurants and businesses.

The silent auction will be hold simultaneously with the groups Chili Dinner on Saturday, Dec. 13 in Room 101 in Rankin Williams Fieldhouse. Both events start at 5 p.m. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased by contacting any member of the SWOSU Athletic Training Staff or can be bought at the door.

The SWOSU men and women’s basketball team will be playing Lone Star conference rival Angelo State University that same evening in the gym. Tipoff for the women’s game is at 6 p.m. with the men to follow at approximately 8 p.m.
