SWOSU overcame a slow start, regrouped, and got rolling before emerging with a 67-64 victory over the Drovers Monday in Chickasha.&#xd;

The Bulldogs will conclude their exhibition season Friday against Avilla University in a game that will be played on the campus of Rogers State University in Claremore, Okla. The Bulldogs begin their regular-season at home Friday, Nov. 20th as part of the SWOSU Classic when they host Missouri-St. Louis at 5:30 p.m.&#xd;

Damian Henderson scored 19 points for SWOSU to lead the Bulldogs in scoring. He was joined in double figures by Charleston Flemmings who added 12. Henderson was eight-for-14 from the floor including a perfect three-for-three from three-point range.&#xd;
&#xd;
The Bulldogs ended the game shooting 42% making 27-of-64 field goal attempts. SWOSU was seven-of-17 from three-point distance for 42%. Both figures were a considerable improvement from SWOSU opening outing of 35% and 23% in an earlier exhibition against Oklahoma City University. USAO shot like percentages make 44% of their attempts from the field and 30% from three-point distance.&#xd;
&#xd;
SWOSU found itself behind 13-2 at the outset but regrouped and had the deficit trimmed to 39-37 at halftime. SWOSU drew even and pulled in front early in the second half before holding off USAO down the stretch for the win.&#xd;
&#xd;
USAO was led by Thomas Peters with 16 points.&#xd;
