Basketballers Plan Pancake Fundraiser

WEATHERFORD –Members of the Southwestern Oklahoma State University men’s basketball team will put on cooking aprons and try their hand at flipping pancakes as part of an all-you-can-eat breakfast feed designed to raise money for the team.

The event, co-sponsored by Bar-S Foods, Taco Mayo and the SWOSU Athletic Association, will take place Saturday, Oct. 14 from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m. in the newly remodeled University Grill in the Student Center on campus.

The breakfast menu will include pancakes, ham steaks, coffee, juice and all the fixings to make a mouth-watering platter.

Tickets are $5 per person and can be purchased in advance at the SWOSU Athletic Department Office or by contacting any member of the Bulldogs men’s basketball team. Tickets will be available at the door.
