500 T-Shirt Giveaway Planned

WEATHERFORD, Okla. – The first 500 fans arriving for Southwestern Oklahoma State University's basketball game on Wednesday, Feb. 27 will receive a special, customized white T-shirt with the Bulldog logo emblazoned on the front.

 

The giveaway, which is sponsored by the SWOSU Athletic Association, is designed to let fans show their spirit and support as the Bulldogs meet longtime rival Central Oklahoma in an important basketball doubleheader.

 

Admission is $7 for adults while students with identification cards are admitted free. Doors will open at 5 p.m. with members of the University Bookstore and Student Government Association passing out the t-shirts at that time.  The women's game scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. with the men to follow at 8 p.m.

 

In addition to the T-shirt giveaway, the SWOSU Fellowship of Christian Athletes will host a FCA Gameday Event at the University Wellness Center at 4:30 p.m. The event is designed to let individuals from area FCA groups meet, play games and here inspirational messages from SWOSU student-athletes and coaches.

 

All those attending the FCA event will be admitted free of charge into the SWOSU-UCO ballgame later that evening.
