Basketball Plans Open Tryout

The Southwestern Oklahoma State University men's basketball team will be holding an "open" tryout Wednesday, Sept. 24th at 3 p.m. in Rankin Williams Fieldhouse under the direction of head coach Todd Thurman and new assistant Wayne Anderson.
All tryout participants must be enrolled at SWOSU and be full time students. In addition, persons will have to be previously registered with the NCAA Clearinghouse and have proof of a physical examination within the last six months.

The tryout, the second of the year, is attempt for the Bulldogs to build their current varsity roster up from 13 players. SWOSU returns six players from last year's exciting 21-7 team that advanced to the Lone Star Conference Tournament.
