Oldham Named LSC Player-Of-Week

Richardson, TX - Southwestern Oklahoma State’s Andrea Oldham was chosen as the Lone Star Conference North Division player-of-the-week for her efforts in leading the Bulldogs to a pair of victories over East Central and Southeastern Oklahoma.

Oldham (Jr., C, Stigler) averaged 23 points and 13 rebounds in the two wins as SWOSU improved to 13-10 overall and stayed in first place in the LSC North Division with a 6-2 mark. She made 19-of-35 (54%) and was eight-of-12 (67%) from the free throw line in the two victories.

Oldham had a season-high 28 points and 14 rebounds in SWOSU’s 69-64 overtime victory at Southeastern on Saturday. She is currently second on the team in scoring averaging 14 points a game and leads in rebounding at 7.7 per game.

Oldham and her SWOSU teammates return to action Wednesday when they travel to Central Oklahoma for an important game. The men’s and women’s doubleheader is set to begin at 6 p.m. in Edmond.

SWOSU’s next home game is Saturday, Feb. 17 when it meets Northeastern State.
