Oldham Earns Second Team Recognition

RICHARDSON, Texas – Southwestern Oklahoma State University basketball player Andrea Oldham again was recognized as one of the top players in the Lone Star Conference North Division. Oldham was a second-team selection to the LSC North squad in her final year with the Bulldogs.
Oldham, a 6-0 center from Stigler, was the team’s top scorer this year averaging 11.3 points per game. She also led the Bulldogs in rebounding averaging 6.3 a game and field goal accuracy at 46.4%. She played two seasons at SWOSU after transferring from Eastern Oklahoma State College. She was a first-team selection last year on a Bulldog team that won the LSC North title.
SWOSU had two other players earn honorable mention all-conference. They were Dru Tomaszewski and Grace Anne Jones.
Tomaszewski, a 5-8 senior forward from San Antonio, Texas, had her best year ever as a Bulldog. She nearly doubled all her offensive numbers from her previous seasons. She averaged 9.1 points, 5.4 rebounds and made 46% of her shots after moving to an inside position.
Jones, a 5-9 junior guard from Fort Smith, Ark., posted career bests in points per game average (8.5) and rebounds (3.8 rpg.). She had her first double-double of her career when she scored 22 points and pulled down 11 rebounds in a road victory over the University of Central Oklahoma.
Texas A&M-Commerce’s Kanani Marshal was the North Division’s Player-of-the-Year. She averaged 18.6 points per game and led the Lions to a 22-8 record and their first ever division crown. She poured in an LSC record 11 three-pointers in the final regular-season game against SWOSU.
