Fath Earns Academic Honor

BARTLESVILLE, Okla. – Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s Grace Anne Fath was one of five Lone Star Conference North Division women’s basketball players to be voted to the all-academic team
Fath, a senior guard from Fort Smith, Ark., carries a 3.59 grade point average in biology. The team is voted on by conference sports information directors for those student-athletes who excel both on the field and in the classroom.
Fath finished second for SWOSU in scoring, averaging just over 11.3 points per game. She was the team leader in steals with 50 and three-pointers made with 44. She scored in double figures 17 times this season with her high-point mark coming against Eastern New Mexico and Cameron with 22 points.
Fath last year won the same such award for her selection to the cross country all-academic team.
SWOSU’s Jessica Giblet was also recognized for academic achievement with her inclusion on the Commissioner’s Honor Roll for having in excess of a 3.20 GPA and earning a varsity letter.
