Ingram Finishes 47th at NCAA Meet

Chino, CA - Southwestern Oklahoma State cross country star Rachel Ingram finished among the top 25 percent of race competitors at the NCAA Division II Championships Saturday. The 6,000 meter race was ran at Prado Park in Chino, Calif.Ingram (Springfield, Mo., sophomore) finished 47th in the vent with a time of 22:52.5. The overall winner was Mandi Zemba of Grand Valley State with a time of 21.01.7. A total of 180 runners ran in the event.
Only two other runners from Lone Star Conference schools finished in front of Ingram, Abilene Christian had a pair of runners finish in fourth and fifth place.
The top 38 finishers were selected to the NCAA Division II All-American team. The 38th place finisher had a time of 22.36.6, 16 seconds better than Ingram.
