Judd Remmers has been with Ryan Held since the two began their coaching careers together at tiny Peru State in 2000. Remmers loyalty and hard work has paid off when he was elevated to one of the three full-time assistant football coach positions at SWOSU in 2006.

Remmers will have the coaching responsibilities of linebackers and remain as the team’s primary recruiting coordinator. He has tutored four all-conference players during his time at SWOSU.

Prior to coming to SWOSU, Remmers spent three years as an assistant at Oklahoma Panhandle State University where he helped lead the Aggies to back-to-back winning seasons for the first time in a decade. He coached six all-conference defensive players in the Independent Football Alliance during that time.

A native of Auburn, Neb., Remmers earned his bachelor’s degree from Peru in 2001. He earned his master’s degree from SWOSU in 2006.
