SWOSU Football Photo Day Set for Sunday

WEATHERFORD – Fans interested in taking a first-hand look at members of Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s football team will have their chance Sunday afternoon during the Bulldogs’ annual photo day.

The Bulldogs will be dressed in their game jerseys and on the field beginning at 1:30 p.m. for team, group and individual pictures. The photo session will be open for approximately 90 minutes. The public is invited to attend and will be welcome on the field to take pictures for themselves along with members of the SWOSU football team.

SWOSU is expected to officially begin its first practice later that day under the leadership of Coach Ryan Held who begins his second season with the Bulldogs. A total of 110 players are expected to have reported on Friday for the first day of physicals.

The Bulldogs open the season Saturday, Sept. 2 at Texas A&M-Kingsville. The first home game is the following week against Midwestern State on Saturday, Sept. 9.
