Giant Tailgate Party Planned for September 9

WEATHERFORD –The SWOSU Athletic Association has announced plans to host a giant pre-game tailgate party before Saturday’s home football game with visiting Midwestern State University.

All members of the SWOSU Athletic Association, formerly known as the Bulldog Booster Club, are encouraged to visit the event at football practice field, located directly south of Milam Stadium between 3:30 and 6 p.m. Those attending will have the opportunity to win special door prizes as well as enjoy food courtesy of Bar-S Foods.

The popular tailgate party is the group’s main vehicle in attracting prospective individual and corporate partners into the Association’s membership.

The primary purpose of the SWOSU Athletic Association is to supplement to the school’s athletic budget in order to remain competitive in the NCAA Division II and Lone Star Conference.
