Koch Named to All-American Scholar Team

NORMAN – Southwestern Oklahoma State standout Greg Koch was recognized as one of 32 NCAA Division II golfers with selection to the All-American Scholar athlete list by the Cleveland Golf Coaches Academic Committee.
Koch, a native of Burkburnett, Texas, combined both his talents on the course and in the classroom. He carries a perfect 4.00 GPA and will graduate in December with a degree in chemistry. He was chosen as the LSC’s Top Academic Golfer.
On the course, he was SWOSU’s top golfer in four tournaments and had two Top 10 finishes which helped him earn a berth in the NCAA Division II South/South Central Super Regional.
Only juniors and seniors are eligible to be a Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar and must have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average. In addition, golfers must have a stroke average under 78.0 for Division II to be considered.
