Men in 15th at UCO Toruney

EDMOND, Okla. - Southwestern Oklahoma State University's golf team finished the first round of the University of Central Oklahoma Classic in 15^th place after a score of 314. The tournament will conclude Tuesday with the final 18 holes at Kickingbird Golf Course in Edmond.

UCO, the tournament's host, is in first place with a 289 thanks in part to a 1-2-3 start by golfers Colby Shrum (68),  Andrew Green (70) and Zach Cleland (71). Dallas Baptist is in second place with a 297. A total of 18 teams and 92 golfers are competing in the event.

SWOSU was led by Luke Phillips who finished the first round tied for 25^th after a 76. Teammate Dakota Brown is 37^th with a 77, Scott Kulczycki is 47^th with a 78 while Ben Claussen and Brad Leeper each shot an 83 and are tied for 83^rd.
