Golf Plans Fundraiser Tourney

WEATHERFORD, Okla. - The Southwestern Oklahoma State University golf teams have unveiled plans for a fundraising tournament on Friday, April 17 at Prairie West Golf Course in Weatherford. All proceeds raised will go to benefit both the men's and women's intercollegiate golf programs, according to tournament director and SWOSU Golf Coach Mark Lumpkin.

"The event will serve as a great way to rally our current team, alumni and supporters so that together we can generate excitement for the Bulldog golf program for this year and beyond," Lumpkin said.

The format of play will be a four-person scramble with a shotgun start beginning at 10 a.m. Cost is $50 per person or $200 for a team. The tournament field will be limited so to ensure a spot all entries must be received with payment by Sunday, April 12.
